Orange slices with Nutiva Hazelnut Spread

Makes 18-22 orange slices

1 cup Nutiva Hazelnut Spread
2 large oranges
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2  teaspoon ginger powder
½ teaspoon nutmeg

For the garnish

Desired amount of:
Dried rose petals
Hemp hearts
Turmeric

Or anything else you’d like to garnish with!

Using a double boiler, heat the hazelnut spread and the spices on medium low heat, stirring occasionally.  While the hazelnut spread is melting, peel the oranges and pull apart the slices, removing as much of the pith as you’d like. Once the hazelnut spread has become runny and the spices are incorporated, remove from heat. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Dip each orange slice into the mixture, making sure to coat both sides. Lay the slices down on the lined baking sheet and repeat with remaining slices.  While the hazelnut spread is still warm, garnish with desired herbs and spices. Let cool until the spread has hardened. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week.
